Their population, influenced by the material and spiritual culture of the Celts, maintained lively trade relations with the northern Roman provinces, Celtic oppids in the west and areas in the north, including the Baltic coast. The unique fortified sanctuary with traces of Celtic religious rituals played the role of a spiritual center beyond the borders of the region during its existence. The archeological museum also includes the original tower of the medieval church of the Virgin Mary, whose history dates back to the 12th century, and the foundations and fortifications of the medieval castle on the top of Havránek.
