Juraj Janosik (1688 Terchova - 1713 Liptovsky Mikulas)
Legendary Juraj Jánošík was imprisoned, tortured and eventually sentenced to death in Liptovský Mikuláš. The execution by hanging behind the left rib took place on March 17, 1713.
The life of Jánošík, his court and at that time are documented by the expositions of Jánošík's torture chamber and the courtroom in the Janko Kráľ Museum.
