In the premises of the old evangelical parish there is a NEWLY OPENED HISTORICAL LIBRARY OF TRANOSCIA. The basis is Tranovsky's library with valuable specimens of Cithary sanctorum. The library consists of more than 2,200 valuable books, prints and manuscripts. The oldest book dates from 1592. The library belongs to Tranoscia, one of the oldest Slovak publishing houses, which was founded in 1898 by St. Nicholas evangelicals. It is also accessible to researchers.
