Manor house in Dolný Lieskov, Považská Bystrica

0 ratings
A manor house from the 17th century, with an extensive park, where rare trees have been preserved so far, including the rare 350-year-old, legally protected small-leaved linden. In a discussion created between her rough shoulders, the important Hungarian writer Kálman Mikszáth (1874 - 1910) wrote the work "The Umbrella of St. Peter". In the middle of the park is a pond with a small island, on which a linden tree originally grew. Today, instead of it, there is a gazebo to which a wooden bridge leads.
