The mission of the archdiocese is to proclaim Jesus Christ, to experience His sacramental presence especially in the Eucharist, to contribute to the creation of a just society in this world, to help people attain the perfection of life and to participate in salvation in the Kingdom of God. The Archdiocese of Košice is part of God's people, a community of believing Catholics - priests, deacons, religious and lay people who, under the guidance of their archbishop, strive to live a baptismal profession.
