To this day, examine the remains of the wooden floor and electric lighting of this warehouse. Today, the Royal Tunnel is an unusual tourist attraction. An interesting experience awaits the daredevils who decide to visit it. Apart from the historical construction solution, for which the tunnel would definitely deserve to be included among the technical monuments, you can enjoy a truly unique atmosphere here. The walls of the tunnel are covered with soot from the times of steam locomotives. There is constant fog, humidity and cold in its premises. As the corridor turns sharply shortly after entering, it is also very dark, so the visitor cannot do without a good light. In more remote parts, the tunnel resembles a cave. Even liquid-like formations are formed here. If you would like it, you can also look into a real cave - in the wall of the tunnel there is an entrance opening to the tangle of karst corridors with a total length of 168 m. The old royal tunnel is accessible only from the side of Kraľovany, the second of its portals is buried.
