However, we had to dam part of the exhibition in order to create a separate space for the screening of the introductory film about the life of Juraj Jánošík and not disturb other visitors. Her most precious exhibit, Ľudovít Full's oil painting from 1955, which depicts Jánošík on horseback as an immortal hero fighting for the justice of the common people, has also returned to the exhibition.
The permanent exhibition has been accessible (with the exception of the just completed reconstruction) since 2008 and divided into several thematic units: The history of the village, The life of Juraj Jánošík and the Jánošík tradition, From the folk culture of the village. The visitor will learn information not only about the history of the village of Terchová, which is documented by photocopies of period documents and photographs, but also important historical facts from the life, bandit and execution of Juraj Jánošík. Numerous period exhibits from Terchová and the surrounding area show musical folklore, domestic textile production, mountain farming, agriculture, folk architecture and the ancient way of living in a wooden house.
