In the individual niches of the astronomical clock you can observe six bronze sculptures of important Slovak personalities - Prince Pribin, King Svätopluk, Anton Bernolák, Ľudovít Štúr, Milan Rastislav Štefánik and Andrej Hlinka.
The heart of the astronomical clock is an astronomical clock, the so-called astrolabe, from which data such as date, solar time, position of the sun in the sign of the zodiac, position of the moon and phases of the moon can be read.
The astronomical clock has its indescribable charm even in the evening, because then it lights up and you can admire its delicate and elaborate technique and beauty even in the dark.
Under the astronomical clock is the entrance to a small sales gallery, which exhibits works by professional and non-professional artists.
