Bishop's Palace

0 ratings
The palace was renovated in 1804 from two aristocratic houses standing on the site of three older burgher houses. In 1893, the south wing was attached to it. The portal is highlighted by a balcony. On the ground floor, two Gothic saddle portals, probably from the Košice Cathedral, are secondarily bricked up. Several Rococo and Empire tile stoves have been preserved in the building, as well as several pieces of Louisine and Empire furniture. The gallery of paintings contains paintings of the bishops of the Košice diocese.
