A unique collection of cinematographic instruments created by the Schuster family, documenting the pioneering of documentary film in Slovakia, screened in the birthplace of Rudolf Schuster in Medzev.

In addition to the unique historical cameras of all formats and various development types from renowned world manufacturers from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the museum presents projectors and a collection of cameras. Of the unique ones, we will mention a 35 mm film camera of the brand. Cinématographe from 1896, models Genesis Prestwich produced in London in the years 1898 - 1906, French cameras Pathé or well-known German film cameras stmp. Ernemann. Equally unique is the collection of projectors and cameras, which contains e.g. Edison's Home Kinetoscope, projector models Pathé, Gaumont, Optica, Zeiss-Ikon and others. The exhibited collection also includes objects documenting the mining traditions related to the locality of Šugovská dolina and Medzev, as well as a number of artifacts from countries visited by three generations of the Schuster family.
