The facades are divided by lysine decoration. The altar is classicist from 1797 with the central image of the angel delivering Peter the Apostle from prison. There is a wooden choir on three sides. The pulpit, organ and bell are classicist from 1797. The larger bell has the inscription "Supptibus Exclesiae Evangelicae Felso-Zelensis 1803" and the smaller one the inscription "Sumptibus Excelsiae Felso-Zela-Silôadiciensis". The new cemetery was marked next to the parish building in 1858. In a report from the canonical visitation from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, Andrej Lanštiak also speaks of an inscription on the tower: "The fixed tower is the name of the Lord - 1792", but in 1964 . The temple was enlarged and raised in 1892. On the 150th anniversary, it was renovated and electrified. In 1958 and 1964, other significant repairs were made to the church and the parish building, and the bells were electrified. Minor alterations to the church associated with technical equipment also took place in 1979, 1986 and 1993. In an interesting way, Ladislav Paulíni describes in his monograph Dejepis superintendencie nitrianskej (1898) the circumstances under which the Upper Churches built their church: “ century to 10 years of persecution.
