Since 1994 The Deravá skala natural monument is a cave located in the cadastral territory of the village of Plavecký Mikuláš on the right side of the Mokrá valley in the Little Carpathians at an altitude of 460 m above sea level. It is 26 m long and 15 m high. Its spaces are created on a tectonic crack by the activity of groundwater and extended by seepage waters enriched with carbon dioxide, but also by frost weathering. The cave was inhabited in the Paleolithic, Neolithic and Middle Ages. It is an important paleontological locality.
