The Všivavec protected area is in the 4th degree of protection. The subject of protection is the protection of thermophilic communities and rocky (dolomitic) outcrops of the foothills of the Little Carpathians. The area covers an area of 34 hectares. It was declared a protected area in 1992. The area also extends into the cadastral area of Smolenická Nová Ves and Boleráz.
