Unlike other settlements, however, throughout its existence until the period of the Slovak state, it maintained a relatively constant number. The Jewish cemetery in Smolenice is located on the edge of the castle park. Sometimes it was protected by a wooden fence. There were more than two dozen grave sites on it in about five rows. The tombstones in the cemetery today are mostly damaged.
