History
The Holocaust Museum in Seredi is part of the SNM-Museum of Jewish Culture in Bratislava. It was created in the premises of the former labor and concentration camp in Seredi. During the Second World War, Slovak Jews were deported from it. They traveled to Nazi concentration and extermination camps established in the occupied territory of Poland.

The Holocaust Museum in Seredi is part of the SNM-Museum of Jewish Culture in Bratislava. It was created in the premises of the former labor and concentration camp in Seredi. During the Second World War, Slovak Jews were deported from it. They traveled to Nazi concentration and extermination camps established in the occupied territory of Poland.

The aim of the museum is to develop into a leading institution in the field of combating anti-Semitism, racism and xenophobia. Remembering the life stories of victims and survivors of the Holocaust. Part of the museum is the permanent exposition of the Holocaust Museum in Seredi, in which period documents, photographs and objects related to the subject are published. The Holocaust Museum in Sered also serves as an educational center. It offers professional lectures and educational seminars for schools.
