History
The cemetery of Orthodox Jews in the city was established in 1740. It is the last resting place of many generations of Jewish families. Many important rabbis are buried here. The most famous rabbi Yehuda Ashzad is also buried here, his grave is a place of pilgrimage. The cemetery is well maintained.
