In 1810, Ján Gergel and his wife Marína had a stone cross built on the road used by pilgrims to Šaštín. The year is hidden in the chronogram of the founding inscription and is also directly carved into the cross. It was a place visible from afar, which is now hidden by a pine forest. The pylon cross was restored in 1988, when it was placed on a new base plate and the chain link fence with corner posts was also repaired.
