Festival history began to be written 50 years ago . From Friday 15 August to Monday 18 August 1969, an event took place in the field of farmer Max Yasgur near the town of White Lake, the atmosphere of which could not be repeated. Peace, love and understanding were the main idea of the "children of flowers" hippies. Forty singers and groups performed at the festival for four days.
