The summer season is slowly but surely coming to an end. The time of festivals and water hatching will be a thing of the past in a few weeks. So let's enjoy the last days of sun, water, music and good food. This week, too, there is a selection of the best that the next weekend will bring. We will visit the Tatras, taste good food and the summer will culminate at an open air festival.
It is said that whoever has experienced it once a year is waiting to continue. Before the end of the summer holidays, the Uprising festival arrives. The headliner of the festival will be the World Cup. Laurin Hill , joined by Alicai Harley , a native of Kingston, Jamaica. Slovak regulars such as Medial Banana, Rida Radar, Polemic, Strapo and Nerieš will also perform . August 23-24 on the Golden Sands in Bratislava, the UPRISING festival will end this year's linen in style.
If you'd rather go and eat well on Friday night, the situation in the Trnava promenade under the walls will definitely happen. The Beer and Food Festival 2019 will once again bring TOP gastronomic specialties and a large selection of beers from domestic and foreign breweries. The event will not be just about beer and food, the accompanying program for children and the evening for adults starts on Friday 23.08. from 15 to midnight and Saturday 24.08. will start at 10:00 and last again until midnight.
Have you seen anyone sell a burčiak along the way? Not yet, but it will probably start from this weekend.
Wine events are starting here again and

paying attention to one . On Saturday in "Linč", sorry in
Zelenec (a village not far from Trnava) local winemakers will prepare a tasting of their production. At the
Linčán Wine Festival , the wine starts flowing at
14:00 and the barrels close late at night, as the program continues until night hours. If you come with children, don't forget to visit the
Mini ZOO , which is part of the
Pizza Roman restaurant.
How about surviving one of the last weekends in our mountains? The High Tatras, specifically at Štrbské pleso , on Saturday 23.08. , is a festival and not just ordinary. The highlight of the program will be at 17:00 the premiere of the unique concert project "FOLKLÓR VO FRAKU" , which will feature leading Slovak opera, folklore and pop-rock singers, along with the legendary choir Lúčnica, the most famous Slovak folk songs in new beautiful arrangements . Katarína Knechtová, Adriana Kučerová, Miroslav Dvorský, Filip Túma and Štefan Štec sing their favorite songs . The musical accompaniment will be provided by the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra.
