In this article, we will focus on three attractions that will capture the most valuable thing we have - our children. First we go to pet the lions and put parrots on our shoulders to ZOOKontakt , then we bounce across the road to the Butterfly Garden , where about three thousand butterflies of different sizes and colors fly in a beautiful environment and finally we move to the island of fantasy, Tatrapolis amusement park. In it, children will see miniatures of world-famous buildings, ride on a carousel, get lost in a labyrinth, cross a beautiful path through the Tatrapolis Express and have fun at other fun attractions. You can do all this with one parking of your car, because all three attractions are located very close to each other.
Right next to the Tatralandia aquapark you will come across the contact zoo ZOOKontakt . During nice and especially free days, it is possible that you will have to endure the advice, but it really pays to wait. In the zoo you will find about 120 animal species, including lions, kangaroos, ostriches, bears, many beautiful bunnies and parrots. You will get very close to the animals under the supervision of the caregivers and the caregiver will always explain what kind of contact is possible with the animal. Many animals can also be fed under the supervision of caregivers.

As mentioned above, when you cross the road and a short distance through the parking lot, you get directly in front of the entrance to Liptov Arena Tatralandia, where regularly from June to the end of August, a beautiful exhibition Butterfly Garden takes place. Around three thousand butterflies of various colors and sizes fly in a beautiful environment, and at the same time you will also admire a diverse and colorful oasis of flowers everywhere. The combination of these flowers and butterflies is truly unique and unforgettable.
The Garden of Courage has also been a part of the garden since 2019, which is actually a transition between bats. So if there is a hero among you who does not back down even after learning that he can also meet a bat with a wingspan of up to 1 m in length, then he can try this adrenaline fun.
Another part of the garden is 10 terrariums with snakes, reptiles, lizards and other animals. And finally, a smaller bird aviary with rare Australian birds, discovered by an English traveler and named after his wife.

A little further, on foot about 3 minutes, we come to the Tatrapolis amusement park , which covers an area of up to 1.61 ha. Perhaps every child will find something for themselves here, as there are up to 34 fun attractions. You will also find miniatures of world-famous buildings from the Eiffel Tower to the Kamzík Tower. Don't forget to bring a camera or at least charge your mobile phone, because the photo at the 7m high Eiffel Tower is really worth it. In Tatrapoliste, you can also see the work of a blacksmith in the Blacksmith's Workshop with your own eyes.
