No one prepared to fight the coronavirus - no one was expecting it. Against fear, helplessness, and the constant pressure of bad news, as if there was nothing to be hoped for, there is no sign of a speedy solution. None of the known measures address coronavirus, it only slows it down. Should people fight this threat by sitting at home waiting ... or can people do more to fight the coronavirus?

Not only do people not only sit at home, but the leaders are able to do more with a common goal - in a situation where it is difficult to find protective equipment, they sew drapes themselves, distribute them through municipalities where they are most needed, are proactive, help each other as much as they know. and come together to be stronger in battle.

In difficult times, it is always good to point to good examples that inspire and give us energy and faith in the victory of good over evil. One such story is the story of Martin Kováčik.

Martin pushes things in 3D printers. Once it began and it was clear that help would be needed, he did not hesitate. Along with the competition, he began to develop protective shields and respirators to get to the front line as soon as possible. Thanks to the coronavirus, in a given situation, otherwise competing entities were able to declassify their know-how to share their ideas, capacities and contacts for the good of things, which does not happen under "standard circumstances".

In less than a week, the first protective shields, invented and manufactured using 3D printing, were received by the first people who need them most in the front line - doctors and paramedics in hospitals. Together with the competition developed and manufactured in Slovakia. The uniqueness of this story is not in any great rhetoric - it is about the approach of man and his responsibility to survive the world around us in a really awkward situation. Few products are developed in Slovakia, even fewer are primarily developed to protect people living in Slovakia.

Through his activity and commitment, Martin showed how it is possible to proactively engage his knowledge and skills in the fight against coronavirus. This is also anikorona and this is Go, which tells us not to stop even in the most difficult moments.

If you also know other stories of how people around you are fighting the coronavirus, do not hesitate to send them to us, we will be happy to fight the coronavirus through these stories as well.
