Lúčnica nad Žitavou is a village in Slovakia, in the district of Nitra. The village is located in the northeastern part of the Danubian Lowland, 17.9 km from the city of Nitra. Zittau flows through the eastern edge. The village was founded in 1960 by merging Martinová (1437) and Vajka nad Žitavou (1113). There are two late Baroque monuments from the 18th century - a manor house and a Roman Catholic church. In the area of the village Lúčnica nad Žitavou there is a pilgrimage site (Calvary) Studnička.
