The building of the former Jozefínum monastery in Dolná Krupa has been writing its history for almost 110 years. Today, it has been 13 years since the building began to serve as an emergency housing facility for women. The Sisters of the Daughters of Divine Love were forcibly evicted from the monastery on August 29, 1950 by the then regime.

The building of the former Jozefínum monastery in Dolná Krupa has been writing its history for almost 110 years. The Sisters of the Daughters of Divine Love were forcibly evicted from the monastery on August 29, 1950 by the then regime.
The manor house in the village was replaced in 1913 by a monastery. The Jozefinum Monastery was leased by the Congregation of the Daughters of Divine Love to the Civic Association of the Goodness of St. Alžbety, which has been operating the Emergency Housing Facility for Women here since November 5, 2009.
