It is generally stated that the evangelical bell tower in the Malá Třenie part was built at the end of the 18th century. There were two bells in it, one moved from the local manor house and the other one purchased by the evangelical church from its own funds. The village lost both bells during the First World War. One was requisitioned by the army and the other was moved by the evangelical church to the tower in Modra. It was probably damaged when, after the war, they had a new bell cast from it, or another one was bought from it, and both were placed in the bell tower in Mali Tňní in 1920
