The masterpiece is divided into three parts. The first is represented by the "old" Terchová with its crafts and characteristic color, the second by the birth of Jesus "modest" Bethlehem, and the third by the "luxurious" Jerusalem.
Over time, plastic figures were replaced by carved linden wood figures. Every year something new is added to the Terchová nativity scene, religious scenes from Bethlehem and Jerusalem are added, and the atmosphere of Terchová is complemented by new folk crafts and workshops by masters.
