On May 24, 1977, a construction site was selected for a water reservoir in the Parina area. The Horné Orešany Reservoir was built on the Parná stream northwest of the village, below the Igram grove. Beginning of construction in 1988. Flooded area of 50 hectares. Tank volume 3.80 mil. m3 of water.
