The football first appeared in Špačince in 1927. However, it was not until 1932 that football officially started in Špačince. Football matches were played at the distillery, later in the so-called cave / aluminum /. In 1960, the JRD footballers took over the patronage, and therefore from that year the footballers bore the name TJ Družstevník Špačince. In 1965, the football field was finally domesticated, which found its permanent place after various relocations.
