In a beautiful natural environment, only about three kilometers from the district town of Gelnica, lies a picturesque mountain lake, the so-called Turzovské. In the past, it had a spa, but today the former spa buildings serve only as restaurants and accommodation facilities. There is a possibility of swimming in Lake Turzovské, but only at your own risk.

More than a natural swimming pool, the lake serves as a tourist stop. A blue-marked footpath leads from Gelnice to Plejsy. Ponzie Turzovského there is another lake, but it is not suitable for swimming at all.
