In the part of the cadastre of the village with a total area of 115.98 ha, there is a protected peat bog with the occurrence of a rare plant - the marigold and the nesting site of rare common birch trees.
The village of Boheľov is characterized by low-rise development of family houses. Older buildings / original / are arranged along the main road of the village, which is supplemented by reconstructed or new types of buildings.
In 1995, the construction of the church of the Reformed Church under the name ˝BÉTEL˝ was completed. The cultural background of the seat is provided by the cultural house and library. The cultural building has a multi-purpose cultural hall with a capacity of 160 seats, a club and a library, which is also located in the building. A multi-purpose mini-playground with artificial grass has been built in the village. The village has a comprehensive sewerage system, gas pipeline and public water supply.
In the village there is a kindergarten with Hungarian as the language of instruction, COOP Jednoty store, Espresso.
The following events are organized every year: Carnival, Women's Day, Mother's Day, Children's Day, General celebrations, Farewell to the summer, Seniors' Day, Pre-Christmas celebrations.
