You must log in to save a POI scan.

Part of the area is a Renaissance anti-Turkish fortification from the 17th century, which was built on the site of a prehistoric wall from the Late Iron Age. The defensive character of the fortifications is confirmed by the presence of shooting ranges, which are located in the front part at the entrance gate. After 1720, a prismatic tower and a gate were added in the southern part of the fortifications. The upper floor of the flood tower served as a bell tower, with the original bells from the 17th and 18th centuries with reliefs of the Virgin Mary and reliefs of St. Michael the Archangel was replaced in 1926 by new ones.
