The history of our family's viticulture and viticulture begins in the second half of the 18th century , when the landowner of Count Rudolf Pálfy of the Červený Kameň estate, Štefan Zloch, began planting his first vine seedlings in the town of Ompitál - the current wine-growing village of Doľany.
His grandson Vendelín Zloch, who was elected by the town council in 1889 as the peregue - mayor in the vineyard, also devoted himself to growing grapes, producing and selling wine . His son Jozef (our grandfather and great-grandfather) continued in his footsteps, whose viticulture was terminated in 1957 by the forced entry into the Unified Farmers' Cooperative in Doľany.
The vineyards were returned to our family only after 1989, when we started to devote ourselves to viticulture and winemaking.
Since 2002, we have been striving to preserve and restore one of the 16th-century water mills in Doľany , where we have moved the production of our wine. This is how our brand WINE FROM MLYNA® was created , which was registered as a trademark in March 2005. Under this brand, we offer limited quantities of wine from our vineyards, which you can taste and buy only from us in Mlyn.
In 2006 we became a member of the Malokarpatská vínna cesta Association and in the autumn of the same year we opened the gates of our wine-growing yard for the first time to wine lovers and the history of the region.
