The temple was hit by many disasters, especially during World War II. During its restoration, it was completely dismantled, moved and rebuilt. At the same time, they turned it 90 degrees to the prescribed east-west orientation and added a sacristy from the north side. The architecture of the church bears the characteristic elements of a three-dimensional church - a smaller sanctuary, a larger nave and the basement of the presented prismatic western tower. Since its inception, it has served Greek Catholic and Roman Catholic believers. The interior decoration is diverse. In addition to icons, there are also fragments of Renaissance and Baroque altars transferred from the church in Stará Ľubovňa. The most precious is the main altar of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, where various stylistic styles meet - Baroque architecture, Rococo and Early Renaissance. There is also an older organ. The interior also includes an older pulpit from the last third of the 17th century, carved benches, flags, original copper shrines and smaller paintings.
