It is a Baroque central building with a dome, built in 1696. The original frescoes on the walls date from the early 18th century, but are considerably painted. After the Basilica of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, the chapel is the second most important building in the Marian Valley. According to legend, this is exactly the place where the Virgin Mary appeared and where a miraculous statue was found, which is the center of the cult in Marianka. The rotunda chapel was built by Prince Pavol Esterházi, a Hungarian palatine, together with the landscape staff Ján Maholáni.

The well, which is located behind the altar, was and still is a key point of the pilgrimage site, where practical therapy of pilgrims begging for mercy and blessings takes place. By the end of the 17th century, the spring was in the open air. As for centuries, water is still the subject of cult and use by believers who find mental and physical healing here.
