The cottage settlement Sokolské chaty, also called Trnávky, is one of the oldest cottage areas in Slovakia. It is located at the eastern foot of the slopes of the Little Carpathians in the valley of the source of the river Trnávka about 5.5 km southeast of the village.

It has been a popular recreational area for almost 100 years, as the first settlement was founded here at the end of the 1920s by members of the Sokol sports organization (hence the name). During World War II, most of the cottages were destroyed by German soldiers. The first post-war expansion of the area occurred in the years 1948-50, when the old cottages were restored and about 20 new ones were built. In the 60's, more settlers were added - they built cottages mainly in the locality towards Bojková. The so-called teachers' cottages closer to the road Trstín - Buková.

Today, there are more than 150 cottages in the area. The area has its own cottage committee, which takes care of the running of the settlement. Chatari live a rich cultural, social and sports life as one big family. They organize joint campfires and sports events. They protect and value nature and it rewards them with its unique charm.
