A cultural monument built in 1965. A monument to an important figure in the labor movement during the first Czechoslovak Republic in southern Slovakia. It consists of a wide horizontal landing with a rectangular floor plan and a bust of Štefan Major. The monument is composed of a vertical pedestal with a smooth shaft. It is built of concrete, the core is lined with boards of cut travertine. The bust is the work of sculptor V. Baďur, a native of the village.

Štefan Major (1887-1963), a long-term worker of the revolutionary workers' movement, editor and functionary of the Communist Party in Slovakia. Since In 1925 he was a member of the National Assembly. In May 1931, he organized a strike by the workers of the Diosek sugar factory, which was not allowed and, moreover, was already part of the election campaign. This event resulted in a tragedy that went down in history as a "Kosuto volley". The atmosphere between the workers and the gendarmes intensified and the strike claimed 3 victims and 6 injured. After the events in Kosut, Major was stripped of his parliamentary immunity.
