According to the testimony of the maps, we could assume that it was created in the middle of the 19th century at the earliest. After restoration, it was consecrated on September 2, 2017 by the parish administrator Martin Jozef Bartoš during local celebrations of the anniversary of the first written mention of the village. The chapel was restored by the Cultural Club of Petrova Ves. The niche was equipped with a new wrought iron grille and a new statue of St. Urbana.
