Dubová is a picturesque village at the eastern foothills of the Small Carpathians. Part of its cadastre is located in the territory of the Small Carpathian Protected Landscape Area. The Predhorie area of European importance was declared in 2018. The subject of protection are mainly two species of beetles, namely the common hornbill and the large bearded beetle. Both belong to the species of European significance inhabiting an important biotope: Eurosiberian oak forests on loess and sand. This biotope includes stands of oaks with a minimal admixture of other trees. The area of the protected area is 45.1450 ha.
