History
The larger cemetery (16 acres) on the way to Záhorie in the foothills of the Little Carpathians is delimited by a stone fence preserved for 3/4 of the length. Today, there are about a hundred tombstones on it, half of which are broken. Tombstones made of more valuable stone are missing, at first they were probably dismantled.

It is stated in the literature that the Jewish cemetery in Trstín already existed in 1695, or in 1680. In the following period, however, it would have to decay or even disappear, because in the first half of the 18th century there were probably no Jews in the village and the cemetery does not mention canonical visits (1714, 1731, 1756, 1782). Since the middle of the 18th century, the number of Jews in the village has been increasing, reaching a maximum of 230 around 1830, while in 1927 there were 87 of them living in the village. In 1782, their number reached 102 and they also had a synagogue. Such a population would already require its own cemetery, it can be assumed that the cemetery was restored at the end of the 18th century, perhaps in its original location.
