In 2008, the sandstone statue of St. František taken to the studios of the Department of Restoration of the VŠVU. Her students restored it as part of their diploma theses over the course of three years.

Preliminary costs estimated at more than € 8,000 were to be borne by the municipality, the parish office and the citizens of the collection. As part of the restoration work, a copy of the sculpture was made of artificial stone, which was installed in 2011 on the original pedestal. Only a simple cleaning was performed.
