The Biela Skala zoo was built by the state forests, then the Pezinok Forest Plant, as a special-purpose facility for intensive breeding of ratite game and its effective hunting by hunting guests in the vicinity of the recreational facility of the same name. The aim was also to ensure the rapid hunting success of prominent guests. The forests are inhabited by deer, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar, hares, foxes, weasels, mouflons, golden eagles, falcons, mountain mice and hawks. There are various types of fungi and medicinal plants.
The Biela Skala complex is located in a picturesque, protected area of the Little Carpathians, at an altitude of 450 m with excellent climatic conditions. The distance from Bratislava is only 35 km and 23 km from Trnava. It is 45 km from MRŠtefánik Bratislava Airport and 120 km from Schwechat - Vienna Airport.
The area has an area of about 9 hectares, is fenced and protected by a camera system. It is located about 4 km in the mountains, in the second largest zoo in Slovakia with the same name Biela Skala. The whole zoo is fenced with several gates allowing entry. Until recently, the entrance to the Biela Skala zoo was problematic and inaccessible, but today the wild nature in the field is accessible to everyone. Motor vehicles are not allowed to enter the zoo, after booking accommodation in the area of the Biela Skala facility, our clients will be allowed to enter and clients will receive a pass permit.
