The parish building dates from 1871. The national awakener Ján Albrecht (1794-1829) worked at the parish. The church was originally Gothic, around the church was a parish cemetery. A new church was built in its place - the construction of the sanctuary dates from 1699-1700, the baroque church nave was completed in 1708. The former church remains a massive tower with a square floor plan, which was in 1735 built with an octagonal hull and baroque roof. The main altar is Baroque from the 18th century. Valuable monuments include the richly decorated classicist pulpit and the baroque altar of St. Ján Nepomucký.
