Opposite the municipal office, on a raised stone pillar of circular cross-section, there is a renovated statue of St. Vendelín, the patron saint of shepherds and cattle breeders with a sheep and a calf at his feet. In the middle of the column today is a stone slab with the inscription renovation. The statue dates from the late 19th century. It was built by the mayor Vendelín Izakovič from the money that the farmers of Dlhá had to pay to the count of Suchov for damaging the nets in his fields, when they drove cattle here when they returned from the fair in Hlohovec.
