The purchase and reconstruction of the old manor house from the 16th century into a manor house in the middle of the 18th century was carried out by the Jezernické family. The new building, already in the late Baroque style, was classically modified in 1816. The representative manor house came into the hands of Karol Švorec before 1905. In 1926, the mansion was sold to the Association "Zachrana". In 1928, it was acquired by the Society for the Care of the Blind in Slovakia. After a demanding reconstruction, the Institute for the Blind was opened in 1930, with scope for the whole of Slovakia. In 1931, it was named the Kadlické Institute for the Blind in Báhon. Today, a social facility for the blind, partially sighted and otherwise severely disabled called the Home of Social Services for Adults is under the authority of BSK.
