Church of St. Stephen the King in Trakovice

Church of St. Štefan kráľa is originally classicist and dates from 1811. It is a single-nave church, a sacral building with a built-in tower and a semicircular presbytery, a shrine. The church has a newly built transept - a transept, which is flatly ceilinged.

The rest of the church is vaulted with a Prussian vault with inter-vault strips. The facades are smooth, the original parts of the nave have been preserved. On the middle axis of the gable facade is situated the tower of the church, covered by a bell-shaped roof. According to unverified data, the church burned down in the first half of the 19th century. Believers tried to repair the church, but for a long time they did not succeed due to financial problems. According to chronicler records, once a rich and high-ranking man Michal Adamkovič passed through the village, donating 500 gold coins to repair the church. This was finally completed, or rather its costly repair, and was dedicated, apparently at the request of the donor, in honor of St. Stephen the King.
