The voluntary fire brigade resumed its activities in Veľký Fedýmeš in 1925. The number of its members in this year was 83, the activities were fire and foreign. There was a fire station in the village, to the maintenance of which the village also contributed from its budget. The voluntary fire brigade functioned under this name basically until 1952, when it became a member of the Czechoslovak Fire Brigade and formed the Local Union in Veľké Úľany.

The historic flag of the fire brigade is located in the House of Culture. The flag was prepared by Pauer Štefan and his wife Pauerová Jolana (née Halászová) in 1935 for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Fire Brigade.
