To the Calvary and the Stations of the Cross - Traces of the Past

The route starts at the church in Dubová. We will go along Podhorská Street in a north-westerly direction to its end. To the left behind the last houses lies Vítkov vřšok and the Stations of the Cross begins here, which will take us with its stops to the top with the Calvary, which is nicely, simply and undisturbed in the country. Under the Calvary, the Lourdes Cave is set in the rock. We descend from it to the forest road, which will take us up the ascent to the yellow tourist sign. By turning right, we go with her to the village of Píla and further to the meadow below Červený Kameň Castle. Here begins a set of several stops, which crosses across the meadows to the funeral chapel. Not far from it, on a smaller hill of the Calvary, there are also statues of Saints John, Mary Magdalene, the Virgin Mary and the crucified Jesus and two thieves. The path under the Calvary will lead us northwards to a green sign and with it it descends to the right to Častá. From the church we continue to the cemetery and in front of it we turn left to the vineyards and in the direction of Dolian. In Doľany we walk around the tower to the church, behind which there is a cemetery and the Stations of the Cross with 14 brick stops begins. Climbing we get to the top of the hill, where stands the Chapel of St. Sebastian and the calvary in front of her with three crosses. Just below the peak on its western side, the pilgrimage chapel of St. Leonarda.
