The village is a mass road village, located 17 km west of Malaciek. On the side of the Morava River, it was originally a terraced village, as the westernmost village of Záhoria and the whole of Slovakia, it is slightly pushed into the Moravian field.

The Morava River is a border river between Slovakia and Austria, the neighboring Austrian villages of Angern an der March, Mannersdorf are located in Marchfeld, the nearby villages of Stillfried and Jedenspeigen are reminiscent of the nearby obelisk of the battle between Otakar Přemysl and Rudolf Habsburg in 1278 in the Moravian field.
