Its inhabitants were engaged in mining, pastoralism and logging. Today they work mainly in the Podbrezov ironworks. The oldest monument is the Church of St. Michal Archangel from the 17th century. Visitors can also visit the memorial room and the tomb of Sam Chalupka.
