Historically significant are the finds of weapons and jewelry, the Calvinist church with a tower and rocking wells or two-storey wooden birdhouses. Today the village has more than 450 inhabitants. Its dominant feature is the modern building of the Municipal House. In addition to the seat of self-government, it is also a cultural stand, which the Holiar people make full use of. Their favorite place is the municipal pond, where they organize a fishing competition every year.
