The village of Bodzianske Lúky

They were established in 1990 by independence from the village of Bodza and are the youngest seat of the Komárno district.

Bodza is first mentioned in 1268 as the property of Komárno Castle. The first settlers came to the site of today's village in the second half of the 18th century. In 1889, a Roman Catholic chapel was built here, dedicated to the Virgin Mary of the Rosary, which was restored to its current form a hundred years later. The picturesque village is part of the protected bird area Ostrovné lúky.
